Even so, it’s still nice to pack lunches, for road-trips, picnics etc…
The Yumbox is great for travel. I never have to worry about how it tilts, or tips, or gets jostled around. It seals so tight that stuff isn’t going anywhere and NO cross contamination. Bonus.
People have asked me about the Yumbox size. I would classify it as a small to medium size box. If you pack it tight, like I prefer, you can get a good amount of food in it. This box here has a full sized sandwich (sans-crust), I just cut it into pieces to fit the box. If you have a big eater, you may prefer to use the Yumbox for something like an after sports snack.
Personally, I struggle to use larger boxes because of my need to FILL them. It’s one of my goals next school year to use my neglected boxes more. Some lunch packers leave a lot of empty space in their lunches and make some really neat lunches! I really envy them. I can certainly do that at home, but I can’t send that to school with my personal Tigger. *bounce* *bounce* *bounce* It just wouldn’t work for us. Ah well. But that explains why I gravitate to the small and medium boxes.
So today we have a pretty simple lunch. Peanut butter and Honey sandwiches. Fresh carrots, and strawberries. Goldfish, and a few Unreal chocolate candies. Then to add a little fun factor, some Angry Birds cupcake rings.
Hope you’re having a great summer!
