I’ve been wanting to do a Phineas and Ferb bento for some time now.

Phineas and Ferb is Mom’s favorite show (that the kids watch).  There is so much to love about it.  Being a big sister myself, I can relate to poor Candace.  And I love Doofenshmirtz on the same level that I love Doctor Horrible.

But my favorite thing about the show is how Phineas and Ferb are just a couple of boys making cool stuff.  They are both very nice and polite.  They’re never mean or disrespectful.  In fact most of the time they have the very best intentions.

We”ve stopped watching some shows (Johnny Test) because of the bad behavior of the characters on the show.

I had planned on making two more Phineas and Ferb lunches after this, but it looks like they’ll be pre-empted by the Election.  This morning kiddo asked for an “America” lunch tomorrow, for Election Day.  How can I refuse.

So the next two Phineas and Ferb lunches will resume on Wednesday.

  1. My kids LOVE Phineas and Ferb. I’m assuming the bulk of it is cheese, but what are the eyes and hair made out of? I will have to try this sometime.

    • The eyes are homemade icing eyes, although I had back ups made with cheese in case these didn’t work. The face is flattened white bread. Smile is Cheese (big triangle under the head). Hair is more flattened bread colored with food color.
